Report on Gender Equality at INRA

Report on gender equality at INRA

In 2018 INRA published its first report on gender equality within the Institute. Factual data, backed up by the conclusions of discussions with numerous participants in human resources or other levels of the Institute and in collaboration with staff representatives, provide essential elements for identifying INRA’s priorities for action in favour of parity and diversity. Regularly updated, this report will constitute an important reference on the road to obtaining the Equality/Diversity label.

INRA has a proactive policy for equality and diversity, which has already had results.

But inequalities persist, in particular concerning access to management positions and in salaries. Because of differences in the distribution of women and men in the different corps, grades and missions, even if, at the same level, women and men receive the same remuneration, differences are observed.

The changes observed over the period 2011 to 2017 are almost all favorable.
