We are looking for new insights into the living world. For example, we are currently studying:

  • microbial communities found in soils and the digestive tract
  • epidemics in animal populations
  • the repercussions of climate change (e.g., drought and temperature variability)

We are also looking for new ways to take action by:

  • designing environmentally friendly food products, biomaterials, and bioenergy
  • developing preventive nutrition strategies
  • discovering means of adapting crops to climate change
  • designing sustainable livestock production for our territories and the planet
