New Project to Facilitate Transnational Access to Leading European Aquaculture Research Facilities

AQUAEXCEL2020, a research infrastructure project funded under the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme and coordinated by the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), has kicked off this month with the aim to further support the sustainable growth of the European aquaculture sector.

Sustainable fish farming through improved feeding practices: launch of EU ARRAINA project

Fish farming is booming, with worldwide aquaculture output growing faster than any other agricultural sector. To guarantee its sustainability and competitiveness, alternative ingredients must replace fish oils and fishmeal in farmed fish feed. ARRAINA, a European Union project led by INRA, will further this work.
