From 25 to 30 September, Philippe Mauguin, President of INRA, visited Shanghai and Beijing with Carole Caranta, Head of the Plant Biology and Breeding Division, Muriel Vayssier, Head of the Animal Health Division, and Ségolène Halley des Fontaines, Head of International Affairs. During this trip, the delegation signed several agreements and the contracts formalizing two new International Associated Laboratories, strengthening the Institute’s ties with its Chinese partners across a wide range of areas.

On February 15 and 16, 2018, representatives from CIRAD, IRD, AGREENIUM, FAO and INRA met in Rome. The objective: joining research forces to meet UN sustainable development goals.

On 4 July 2016 in Paris, INRA and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) signed a framework agreement on research and training aimed at developing their collaboration in modelling the impacts of climate change on agriculture and global food security.

François Houllier, President of INRA, accompanied the French President to the Netherlands on 20 January 2014. They participated in the French-Dutch economic forum "Innovation and Sustainability" in Amsterdam. INRA's cooperation agreement with Wageningen University & Research Centre, its principal international partner, has been renewed and extended.
