Presentation of the Agriculture-Innovation 2025 Report

On Thursday 22 October, four personalities from the scientific and agronomic worlds, representing IRSTEA, AgroParisTech, ACTA and INRA, officially presented the summary of the report they had been commissioned to compile by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Secretariat of State for Research.  It contains a total of 3 priorities, 9 areas, 30 projects and some hundred actions which, over the next ten years, will ensure that agriculture will be central to innovation.

Unveiling at the Elysée of the backdrop the French pavilion will use at Expo Milano 2015. François Hollande, the president of France, was present, as were several of his ministers: Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, Ségolène Royal, Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Energy, and Stéphane Le Foll, Minister of Agriculture, Agrifood, and Forestry.. © Présidence de la République / Julien BONET

Agroecology research recognized at Expo Milano 2015

Expo Milano 2015, the universal exposition being held in Milan, Italy, will run from May 1 to October 31, 2015. The French pavilion, made entirely of wood from the Jura region of France, has chosen the slogan “producing and supplying food in a different way,” which recognizes the research and innovations emerging from the field of agroecology. Sabrina Gaba, a young research scientist from Dijon’s Joint Research Unit for Agroecology, participated in a round-table discussion at the Elysée on March 18. It is on this day that the French pavilion was officially inaugurated.
