On Thursday 22 October, four personalities from the scientific and agronomic worlds, representing IRSTEA, AgroParisTech, ACTA and INRA, officially presented the summary of the report they had been commissioned to compile by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Secretariat of State for Research. It contains a total of 3 priorities, 9 areas, 30 projects and some hundred actions which, over the next ten years, will ensure that agriculture will be central to innovation.

In association with IFPen, INRA organised a seminar on bioeconomy in Paris on 8 and 9 October 2013 which was sponsored by the Ministries for Agriculture, Ecology and Industrial Renewal. This field of research and technological innovation necessitates a comparison of the approaches adopted by different European countries, in order to encourage the development of partnerships between different research establishments.
