Promoting research excellence, fostering innovation, strengthening scientific collaborations in France and on the international scene, developing citizen science, creating a single research establishment in 2020… this report accurately reflects the human endeavours and scientific advances that the women and men of INRA have participated in for more than 70 years, with the enduring goal of serving the common good and expanding the boundaries of knowledge.

In 2018 INRA published its first report on gender equality within the Institute. Factual data, backed up by the conclusions of discussions with numerous participants in human resources or other levels of the Institute and in collaboration with staff representatives, provide essential elements for identifying INRA’s priorities for action in favour of parity and diversity. Regularly updated, this report will constitute an important reference on the road towards obtaining the Equality/Diversity label.

Scientific output, innovation, partnerships, support for public policy, 2017 was an outstanding year for INRA on all fronts. All of the women and men who make up INRA have worked hard throughout the year to achieve excellence in research and strive toward innovation and sustainable development in the agricultural and food sectors.
